Directions

Continue along the A189 Spine Road heading for Ashington / Woodhorn.

Continue on that road and you will see the 8 chimneys of the Lynemouth (Alcan) Smelter on the left and the single chimney of the Lynemouth Power Station on your right.

Go past the smelter and shortly after, as the road bends on your right, you will see a red sign stating; Welcome to Lynemouth Power Station. Turn right, go under the railway bridge and you will see the blue Astec building on your right.
